COMPANY OVERVIEW
North Star Water Company (NSW) is a Ghanaian-owned limited liability company, founded in 2024 with the purpose of addressing the growing demand for safe, reliable, and accessible water services in underserved communities in Ghana.
We recognize water as a fundamental human right, a major driver of rural development, and a basic right which unlocks health, economic productivity, and educational opportunities for children.
Our company was born out of the need to innovate how water is delivered and
managed in both urban and rural communities, especially in contexts where traditional water systems have failed to meet the growing needs of the population.

Flow Prepaid Meter Distribution
NSW is an accredited regional distributor of Grundfos Flow
prepaid water meters, one of the most advanced and durable
smart metering solutions. We assist water utilities, municipal
authorities, NGOs, and community-based operators in deploying these meters to promote water accountability, eliminate postpaid billing challenges, and improve revenue collection.

and control over their water usage, building trust between
providers and consumers
Safe Water System Construction
Our engineering division designs and constructs comprehensive
water systems tailored to the needs of each community. These
range from basic borehole and handpump installations
to complex piped water networks with integrated treatment
facilities, elevated storage tanks, solar pumping solutions,
and household pipe water connections
Market Creation and Service Management
Beyond infrastructure, NSW delivers end-to-end service models for operating water systems as sustainable enterprises. We partner with communities, NGOs, and government partners to create water markets by building user demand, setting affordable pricing structures, and the service management of the water system through customer service scalable business model.
