North Star Water Limited (NSW) was incorporated on 15 December 2024, registered in Tamale, and entered its first full year of operations in 2026. NSW was founded not as an abstract business idea, but as a direct response to a specific, visible, and urgent need in the Northern Region.
By combining a Tamale base — the closest professional supplier to the Northern Region’s rural water sector — a focused product line of hybrid solar water pump systems, solar panels and electrical installation materials, and prepaid smart water meters, and exclusive distributor agreements with top Chinese manufacturers, NSW is positioned to become Ghana’s leading solar-powered water and smart metering partner within three years.
